We strongly recommend backing up configurations (Settings>System>Advanced>Save/Load Configurations) and field data (via Settings>Data) to a USB prior to updating firmware plus its also a good idea to unplug all cables at the display other than power prior to installing the upgrade to minimise the risk of the display getting into a boot loop. Insert the USB into the display and select the next closest version to what your display is currently and gradually upgrade the unit repeating this process. If your CFX-750 is currently prior to version 6.0 it is recommended to step your way up gradually up to current recommended version 7.79 while trying to minimise the risk of losing data and causing damage to the unit.įirmware file download pack requires unzipping and the upgrade files copied to your USB (not in any folders).
